Community Involvement at Lady Luck Casino in Caruthersville, MO

Community Aces Community Aces is the charitable giving and volunteer program of Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. founded to honor the legacy of company founder, Bernard Goldstein and administered by the Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation.
	Helping Troops Call Home In an ongoing effort to help troops call home, the Caruthersville Community Aces collect used cell phones via drop boxes located in the casino pavilion. Anyone can donate by dropping off their old devices in the collection box. The phones are then recycled by the group, Cell Phones for Soldiers. The result is free calling minutes for our deployed men and women of the United States armed forces.
	Adopt-A-Highway Lady Luck team members are commited to keeping our community clean. Through the State of Missouri's Adopt-a-Highway program, the Community Aces team meets regularly to pick up trash and debris along State Highway 84.
	Employee Food Drive Lady Luck employees stepped up in November and December 2012 to donate over 4,000 food items. These items helped stock the shelves at the local Oasis Resource Center food pantry.
	Honoring Those Who Served Team members honored our country's veterans on Veteran's Day 2012 with a complimentary dinner at Otis & Henry's Bar and Grill. Team members volunteered their time to show their appreciation and serve those who have served.
	Caruthersville Chamber of Commerce Chili Cookoff The Lady Luck Community Aces team participated in the Chamber of Commerce Chili Cookoff in October 2012. As defending 2011 Chili Cookoff Champions, the team chose to expand their entry this year and try their hand at the wing competition. While they were defeated in the chili division this year, Marketing Manager, Dave Hart, took first place for his mouth-watering wings.
	Woofstock 2012 Raises Money for The Sunshine Fund Team members braved the cold and rain in October 2012 to participate in Woofstock 2012, a fundraiser of the Caruthersville Humane Society. The team sold fish dinners with proceeds going to The Sunshine Fund, an Isle of Capri corporate program designed to assist team members deal with financial crises.
	Running for a Good Paws Team members laced up their running shoes to raise money for the Caruthersville Humane Society at the John VanAusdall Memorial 5K Run and 2-Mile Walk in May 2012.
	Caruthersville Chamber of Commerce Business & Industry Golf Tournament Lady Luck team members showed their support for the Caruthersville Chamber of Commerce by donating food to the Business and Industry Golf Tournament. Community Aces volunteers cooked and served lunch to the tournament participants.
	Great Strides: Walk for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Lady Luck Caruthersville Community Aces participated in the Great Strides walk in Cape Girardeau in 2011 and 2012. Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest fundraiser. More than 250,000 walkers come together each year nationwide to raise money to fund research for a cure.
	Kenny Rogers Children's Center Telethon 5K Kickoff Members of the Lady Luck Community Aces team ran in the KRCC 5K in March 2012. The run is one of the center's annual telethon events. Money raised benefits the KRCC enabling them to provide therapy services to children throughout Southeast Missouri at no cost to the families served.
