    Featured Chef

    Chef Rosebud was classically trained at Johnson and Wales University. She was inspired to go into the Culinary arts field from her father and grandfather who were both Chinese cooks. Chef Rosebud began her training in high school at a technical trade school where she took advantage of state and national competitions. After graduating from college she started working in the industry at an entry level, learning how to work a line and produce plates with eye appeal in a timely manner. Working in various restaurants from classical French to pan Asian as well as corporate setting, Chef Rosebud was given an opportunity to be a sous chef at the Isle Casino® in Cape Girardeau, MO. When our Cape Girardeau property opened and Chef Rosebud had the opportunity to use her skills to create a strong culinary team in the buffet. After four years at Isle Casino Cape Girardeau, Chef Rosebud accepted the executive chef position at Lady Luck® Casino Caruthersville. Chef utilizes the wisdom that she has gotten from other chefs that she has been able to work with, as well as chefs like Julia Childs who inspire her to create dishes for her guests that make them enjoy eating because we've created such a great memory.
